Fuel Levy Update

Due to increasing volatility and unpredictability in diesel pricing, GV Transport will be temporarily moving to a weekly fuel levy review. Fuel prices will be assessed each week and adjusted accordingly to reflect current market conditions.

The fuel pricing data is sourced from the Australian Institute for Petroleum, which utilises data provided by MotorMouth.

The fuel levy for the week commencing 1st June 2026 is 13.03%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $2.295 per liter, recorded at 28/05/2026

Previous Fuel Levies

The fuel levy for the week commencing 30th March 2026 is 36.75%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $3.115 per litre, recorded at 26/03/2026.

The fuel levy for the week commencing 6th April 2026 is 35.10%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $3.038per litre, recorded at 02/04/2026.

The fuel levy for the week commencing 13th April 2026 is 40.05%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $3.269per litre, recorded at 09/04/2026.

The fuel levy for the week commencing 20th April 2026 is 27.09%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $3.045per litre, recorded at 16/04/2026.

The fuel levy for the week commencing 27th April 2026 is 24.51%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $2.907per litre, recorded at 23/04/2026.

The fuel levy for the week commencing 4th May 2026 is 18.13%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $2.567 per liter, recorded at 30/04/2026.

The fuel levy for the week commencing 11th May 2026 is 16.84%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $2.498 per liter, recorded at 07/05/2026

The fuel levy for the week commencing 18th May 2026 is 15.45%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $2.424per liter, recorded at 14/05/2026

The fuel levy for the week commencing 25th May 2026 is 14.14%, based on an average metropolitan diesel price of $2.354 per liter, recorded at 21/05/2026
